Why it is worth it

What a bank mandate costs you

The honest comparison: your own account plus Tickerbit versus a classic bank mandate for the same money.

You have a trading account (e.g. Swissquote) and use Tickerbit for the guidance. This is the alternative to a bank mandate for the same money, not something you hold on top. Tickerbit is not a broker: it replaces the expensive mandate, not your trading and custody fees, and costs nothing today.

What you save vs the mandateCHF 4'250 per yearAt the same gross return of 5%, over 10 years that is about CHF 59'758 more final wealth, simply because you keep your low-cost account instead of taking a mandate, without a single better forecast.

Model with adjustable assumptions, not an exact statement. A Swiss mandate really carries ~1.8 to 2.5% per year (fee, fund TER, custody, stamp duty, FX). Over ten years ~85 to 92% of active funds lose to their index after costs (SPIVA, Morningstar). The safe lever is cutting cost, not predicting the market. The self-directed side still includes your broker and trading fees; Tickerbit only replaces the mandate.

Tickerbit is a research and education tool, not personalized investment advice in the regulatory sense and not a solicitation to buy or sell. Decisions are always yours.
